Nzubechukwu Cyprian, Pharmacy student and full-stack developer

I'm Nzubechukwu Cyprian. I'm a Pharmacy student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka — and I spend a serious amount of my life building software.

The two aren't in conflict — and I didn't arrive at this combination by accident. I went through FGC Enugu before getting to UNN, and I started coding in 2022 on an Android phone with Termux: no laptop, no AI assistant writing the code for me, just experimenting, breaking things, and fixing them until I understood how software works. Moving to a PC gave me room to build bigger things, and what started as small experiments on a phone grew into full-stack development, real products, AI exploration, and open-source contribution — all while I continued my education.

Today I build full-stack products with Next.js, TypeScript and Node, explore Rust for systems and smart-contract work, and spend a lot of time on AI — not as a buzzword, but as a set of tools I engineer outcomes with. I ship products as part of a broader ecosystem, contribute to open source through programs like Drips Wave on the Stellar ecosystem and GrantFox, and write about what I learn.

I'm a co-founder of O4A INNOVATIONS, a holding company that builds, operates, and invests in businesses across technology, media, and services. O4A is a separate entity from me — it's the venture ecosystem my products and experiments sit inside.

Venture ecosystem

Co-founder, O4A INNOVATIONS

O4A INNOVATIONS is a holding company that builds, operates, and invests in businesses across technology, media, and services. It is a separate entity from me — the products and experiments on this site sit inside that broader ecosystem. See the O4A website ↗ or the pitch on the homepage.

How I got here

  1. The beginning

    FGC Enugu to UNN

Went through Federal Government College Enugu before making it to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where I'm now studying Pharmacy. Technology grew alongside the education, not instead of it.

  2. 2022

    The phone

Started coding on an Android phone with Termux. No laptop, no powerful workstation, no AI coding assistant doing the work — just learning by experimenting, breaking things, and figuring out how software actually works.

  3. Later

    The transition

Moved from phone-based development to a PC. The phone was where I started; the PC was where I started scaling — building larger, more serious projects instead of small experiments.

  4. As I scaled

    From coding to building

Went deeper into full-stack development: databases, deployment, cloud infrastructure, real products, and the architecture decisions that come with them. This is where building seriously began.

  5. Then

    AI — a new layer

Started exploring AI after the foundation was already there, integrating it into how I build software and think about products. First I learned to build things myself; then AI became another tool I build with.

  6. In public

    Open source

Started contributing to existing software ecosystems — working through real issues and engineering problems with programs like Drips Wave on the Stellar ecosystem and GrantFox.

  7. 2026

    O4A INNOVATIONS

Co-founded O4A INNOVATIONS, a holding company that builds, operates, and invests in businesses across technology, media, and services — the venture ecosystem my products and experiments sit inside.

  8. Today

    Pharmacy × Technology

Studying Pharmacy at UNN while building products, exploring AI, contributing to open source, and growing as an engineer. The two exist side by side, and both are real.

  9. Next

    Still building

This isn't the end of the journey. The direction keeps compounding: better systems, more products, deeper work in public.
